Slash and burn agriculture is that kind of agrivulture which is done by first burning a piece of land and then cultivating on it.
It have a lot of disadvantages :

⏩ As in this forat a part of forest is burnt, it may also happen that fire may spread to the rest of the forest and can damage all the other valuable trees.
⏩ Very low production.
⏩ Can't feed a lot of population as the production is only done for own purpose.
⏩ The small patch of land remains sometimes barren after use.

There are many problems that result from this method of growing crops , including deforestation, a direct consequence of cutting down forest for crop land , loss of habitat and species, an increase in air pollution and release of carbon into the atmosphere- which contributes to global climate change.
