The minimum age for a candidate for legislative assembly is 25 years.
Please refer Article 84 (b) of the Constitution of India.
This Article stipulates for becoming a candidate for Lok Sabha election the candidate should be 25 years of age.
A similar provision has also been made for a candidate to the Legislative Assemblies vide Article 173 (b) of the Constitution to be read with Sec. 36 (2) of the R. P.
