AB is a series combination.

as firstly,

two parallels are here .

first parallel

 \frac{1}{20}  +  \frac{1}{10}  =  >  \frac{3}{20} . =  >  \frac{20}{3} ohm.

second parallel

 \frac{1}{20}  +  \frac{1}{40} . =  >  \frac{3}{40} . =  >  \frac{40}{3} ohm.

so, in the series A B is

 \frac{20}{3}  +  \frac{40}{3}  =  >  \frac{60}{3} . =  > 20ohm \:

so the total equilent resistance is 20 ohm .
