hey, scientist are desperate to find alen life right. But we have not found any sign of alien life. I think the problem here is that we are searching them as we are searching another human civilization in other planet . I just wanna say that what if alien life does not need any kind of water,oxygen or sunlight, what if their needs are completely different then our's. So, my question here is that why aren't scientist searching alien life on other planets that aren't don't support humans. I mean why aren't they searching life on other planets except for the planets in habitable zone? plz answer this thus question has benn my mind for 5years so if you can then plz answer .

The reason that scientists are searching for alien life on planets in the habitable zone, as their reasoning is pretty straightforward, if we can't live on one of the planets then other life can't be their either. Their reasoning is a way for them to be able to cut down on the amount of planets that they have to study. Though, of course aliens could be on other planets, we just don't have enough information to support these arguments yet.
