Ans. Yes, the breaker will become hot as temperature has increased . And this is because adding water to quick lime ( CaO) is an exothermic reaction i,e heat is released in the reaction .
So due to evolution of heat breaker will become. Hot .

Here , Ca(OH)2 is the product of the chemical reaction or we can say it Slaked lime which makes the beaker heated .
