Answer:

1.4 calcium oxide , 0.4g oxygen

formula = CaO

Calcium = 1.4 - 0.4 = 1

ratio of calcium and oxygen

= 1/0.4

= 5/2

3.5 Calcium oxide , 2.5 calcium

oxygen = 3.5 - 2.5 = 1

ratio = 2.5/1

= 5/2

therefore the ratios are same

therefore this satisfies the law of constant proportion

Hello mate,

1.4g calcium oxide,

0.4g oxygen

Chemical formula = CaO

Calcium = 1.4-0.4 = 1

Ratio of calcium and oxygen = 1/0.4

= 10/4

=5/2

3.5g calcium oxide,

2.5g calcium

oxygen = 3.5-2.5 = 1

Ratio of calcium and oxygen = 2.5/1

= 25/10

= 5/2

Hope it helps you.
