Lets get deep.
There are always 100% votes
Here we have 10%invalid votes , so only 90% votes are counted.
In this A gets 35% votes which are valid.
So B gets 55% of the valid votes.
The difference of these two votes are 20%.
So A lost by 20% margin which is 9504 votes.
So 20%: 9504:: 90%: x
Hence x = 42768 votes.
Hence B gets 55%
WIZ in the same manner as above as 26136 votes.

Let , the total number of votes is 'y'.

It's given that 10% votes were invalid, so 90% votes were valid.

Valid votes = 90% of y

= ( 90/100 ) × y

= ( 9/10 ) y = ( 9y / 10 )

Since, A got 35% of valid votes then B must have got 65% of valid votes.By getting 35% valid votes, A lost by 9,504 votes . It means the difference between the votes of B and A is 9,504 .
