A small correction is needed. It should be 16xz.

Now,

Given Equation is 4x^2 + 9y^2 + 16z^2 + 12xy - 24yz - 16xz

It can be written as,

= > (2x)^2 + (3y)^2 + (4z)^2 + (2)(2)(3)xy + 2(3y)(-4z) + 2(2x)(-4z)

It is in the form of a^2 + b^2 + c^2 + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca = (a + b + c)^2

Here a = 2x, b = 3y, c = 4z.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore The result is (2x + 3y - 4z)^2 (or) (2x + 3y - 4z)(2x + 3y - 4z).

Hope this helps!

misshshareef07pdij86: Sis what does this mean ^ ?
misshshareef07pdij86: and thanks yew somch fr the correction
siddhartharao77: power. For example 2^2 = 2 is called as 2 to the power 2 = 4.
misshshareef07pdij86: Aha thank yew once again
misshshareef07pdij86: what if someone write power of 3 ? It will b same as ^?
siddhartharao77: yes... 3 to the power can be written as 3^3.
misshshareef07pdij86: Aha thnx
siddhartharao77: Its ok..sorry i dont have paper with me at present. i was trying to sleep!
