kya eska mass tabhi exist karega jub ye light ke speed se bhe adhik speed se travel kar raha hoga. agar haa to kese or kyu?
kya ho agar by chance eske speed light speed se barabar ho jaye?
or tub tachyons ke proper length or life time kya hoge?
or agar kya ho jub tachyons ke speed light ke barabar ho kya wo energy loose karega .
maan lo agar tachyons exist karta hai to kya wo cherenkov radiation ke roop me energy release karega par kyu ?
or unke speed kese badega
kya energy loose karne se ya fir kuch or?
what happed when we give energy to tachyons?

hello i can't give you a proper answer very sorry for that but I can tell you that tachyons wo particles hote jo light ka speed sa jada fast travel karte hai eski khoj tin bhartiya vaigyanik e. c. g sudarshan, o. m. p. bilanuk, v. k. deshpande jinhone saal unnis so basat ma essay particles ki baat ki thi par use samye unn logo issa Metaparticle ka naam diya tha aur saal unis so sarsat ma Gerald Feinberg nam ke ek dushra scientist na similar idea laye aur unhone iss duniya ke samne possiblty of particles faster light ka naam se sabke samne rakha iss research ma unhone issa light sa jadda tejh travel karne wale hypothetical particles tachyon naam diya. kyuki tachyons special relativety ko violate nahi karta toh enka existance theoretically possible hai. aur agar ye exist karenge toh enke main properties hogi -
1.enka rest mass, proper length aur proper lifetime imaginary hoga.
aur baat uska mass ki to jo particles light se fast travel karte hai unke mass change hota ha aur wo time dilation aur length contraction bhi experience karta hai.
and if we take relativistic mass formula ( mane ek pic de haa upar ma) then m0 rest mass ko represent kar rahe hai aur m relativistic mass ko aur v particle ka speed ko aur c light ka speed ko aur ham jante ha ki v is greater than c ( because tachyons always travel faster than than the speed of light) but if we keep a value in this equation then the square root will always be negative for example -
if we take v = 2c then (picture provide please see up)
we will get - 3 in the square root
aur kyuki ek negative number ki koi proper value hum nahi nikaal sakte to hum assa values ko imaginary kahte ha and we denote it with i if you have ever studied advanced math then you will remember that you represent the square root of -1 with i
so because of this imaginary number it is difficult to solve this equation.
