Hello..

The arrangement of the flowers in the floral axis is termed as Inflorescence.

There are two kinds of inflorescence- racemose and cymose.

In racemose, the main axis continues to grow. The flowers are borne laterally in an acropetal succession.

In cymose, the main axis terminates in a flower hence, limited in growth. The flowers are borne in Basipetal order.
