split the volume of the cone into two halves
first the bottom cone with height = 18 and radius = 12/2 = 6
then the upper frustum with one radius = r and the other radius = 6 and the height = 24 - 18 = 6
equate the entire cone's volume with the sum of these both volumes
u will get the answer
