Hey there!

As we know that angiosperms have vascular tissues i.e. xylem and phloem. Apart from these they have non vascular tissues too, they are Dermal tissues and The ground tissue.

1. Dermal tissue: This is the tissue which covers and protects the stem from external damage and forms a layer called epidermis. We can find this epidermis in both dicots and monocots.

2. Ground tissue: This tissue mainly functions as storage structure. It is undifferentiated into Monocots and fill the interior of the stem with vascular tissue. Whereas in Dicots, the ground tissue is present in two distinct forms.
