wheb switch is put to on. the. circuit is completed. soft electric magnet gets activated and it attracts the iron armature kept in front of it. armature is connected to the hammer which strikea the ging and sound is produced. now when armature is attracted forward by the magnet making it hit to gong, point A looses contact with point B. Now the circuit is not complete. electric magnet thus looses its magnetism and armature is no longer attracted . it goes back to its original place
now. again point A and B come in contact, cricuit is complete and same things happen again .
