a) Elements that have a single electron in their outermost shell are simply group I elements in the periodic table like H,Li

b)Just like in the previous one elements that have seven electrons in their valence shell are group vii elements like Cl, Br, I and so on,

c)Alkaline earth metal are group  II elements in the periodic table and the answer here is Magnesium.

d)And halogens are group VII elements in the periodic table and the halogen in third period is Br.

e)Here you can simply consider very well known non metal like Carbon, Oxygen and Nitrogen.
