PLZ ANSWER MY QUESTION ...
Q.1) chloroform is a chlorine compound , but it does not give white precipitate with silver nitrate solution . Give reasons .

chloroform is not an ionic
not dissolves in water
white ppt is silver chloride but here it is not formed as
it has carbon (a non metal) which is not displaced by silver

Since chloroform is a gas.It does not give white precipitate with silver nitrate solution.
