1. A scooter travelling at 10m/s speed up to 20m/s in 4 sec. Find the Acceleration of train.

Given,

  1. Initial Velocity (u) = 10 m/s
  2. Final Velocity (v) = 20m/s
  3. Time (t) = 4 s

By the equation of motion,

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \boxed{\: a =  \frac{v - u}{t} }

a =  \frac{20 - 10}{4} \\  \\ a  =  \frac{10}{4} \\  \\ a  = 2.5m {s}^{ - 2}

Acceleration of the train is 2.5 m/s²

2. A train starts from rest and accelerate uniformly at the rate of 5m/s² for 5s. Calculate Velocity in 5s.

Given,

  1. Initial Velocity (u) = 0m/s
  2. Acceleration (a) =5m/s²
  3. Time (t) = 5s

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \boxed{\: v =  u + at}

Now,

v = 0 + 5 ( 5) \\ v = 5 (5) \\ v = 25ms^{-1}

Velocity of the train in 5 seconds is 25m/s.
