HOMOGENEOUS -THAT HAVE THE SAME PROPORTIONS OF ITS COMPONENTS THROUGHOUT THE MIXTURE
HETEROGENEOUS-A heterogeneous mixture is simply any mixture that is not uniform in composition – it's a non-uniform mixture of smaller constituent parts. Using various means, the parts in the mixture can be separated from one another.

HOMOGENEOUS : When all components are mixed uniformly and there is no clear boundary of separation between them . composition of homogenous mixture is uniform throughout . the components can not be seen with naked eye.
ex- solution of alcohol and water.

HETROGENOUS : A mixture is called hetrogenous if it's composition is not uniform throughout and the components have visible boundaries of separation between them . the components of hetrogenous mixture can be seen by naked eyes.
ex- mixture of sugar and sand.
