They are couples who are demonologists who carry out exorcism.Lorraine is a lady who has the ability of coming in contact with angels and demons. She acts as a strong host to these entities with a power of repulsion. Edward is a church person and knows preist prayers and an expert in exorcism.

In real world, Edward is dead and Lorraine mostly retired from her activities.

It is also said that, Lorraine is also controlled by an entity that she cannot resist at certain times. But the love and care of Edward has kept her normal.They even collect artifacts of various items as a souvenier for the exorcism that they have carried out.
