Kashmir is famous for it's rich cultural history added with it's beautiful landscapes.

It is one of the most culturally rich states in India.

One of the most important parts of the cultural identity of the Kashmiri people is the Koshur language, spoken only in Kashmir.

Besides language, the culture of Kashmir has been greatly influenced by Central Asian and Persian culture.

Cultural music and dance like Wanvun, carpet weaving, etc are among a part of Kashmiri identity.

Festivals celebrated in Kashmir include the festival of Lohu, also called Sanskrit which is celebrated in the month of January.

Kashmir has such a rich political and cultural heritage which needs to be conserved for years to come.

Political turmoil has turned Kashmir into a war zone.

Hence, this results in loss of cultural as well as political diversity for India.

We need to try and maintain peace in the valley and try to make the population adjust to help preserve the cultural heritage of Kashmir.
