conductor simply means which allows heat and electricity to flow through them..e.g iron
whereas insulators are just opposite which dont allow heat and electricity to flow through them.
e.g glass and plastic

conductor is a tool who helps us to send charge from one point to another point.
from insulater we can produce charge.
so conductor Is a tranfering agent and and insulater Is producing agent.
hope this is helpful for you thanks
have a nice day
