Yes, india is fortunate to have fairly rich and varied minerals resources. however, these are undisturbed.

India is rich in Minerals. india has more than 20% of iron ores. Inida have many minerals. they provide the nation strong and builds many Industries.

The minerals present in india are coal, petroleum and etc... are rich in india. uranium are also presnet in india.

Chattisgarh is the state which is rich in Minerals. It produces 20% of cement.


Rocks contain many minerals in them. there are many types of rocks in india like sentimentary rocks, peninsular rocks. these rocks contain Many minerals.

Gujarat, Assam , High deltas of kaveri, Krishna, and godavari rivers, we can find petroleum oil wells.

minerals available in India.Iron, Aluminium,Copper,Gold are available in large quantity. This is also the reason behind attracting foreign invasions. Britishers were also attracted towards this land rich in minerals and they carried huge mineral from India to Europe too which was needed for inventing machines and giving pace to industrial revolution .
