Heya all, My brother have been assigned holiday homework in which a question is - Mention 5 innovative methods to conserve water and please explain it till only 2-3 or maximum 4 lines as it of 6th standard

Some of the methods to conserve water are as :
1.turn off the tap while brushing....
So that, more and more water will be saved from getting wasted..
2.use mordern methods of irrigation instead of old, traditional methods...
Methods like drinking irrigation and sprinkler irrigation saves a lot of water from getting wasted and send water directly to the root of the plants...
3.use buckets while bathing instead of using shower...
As, shower continously waste water and we can satisfy our need by using buckets...
4.By rainwater harvesting
By collecting rainwater we can do many works that we are used to done with clean water...
Like :watering the plants, etc..
5.Use bucket water for cleaning roads, cars etc instead of using running water..

➡️ You conserve water by rainwater harvesting 

   Rain water harvesting = To collect rainwater and store it for later use.             Collecting rainwater in this way is called rainwater harvesting.

1) There are two types of rainwater harvesting :

   a) Rooftop rainwater harvesting 

   b) Road side drains and collecting water 


➡️ Use the left over water and store for watering plants 

 In this way water will also be used and the plant will get its water 
The plant will grow transpiration will happen so it will help in both the ways.

➡️ Take a bucket of water instead of shower for bathing.

   When you with shower most of the water get wasted because as your body will be getting the water but from the sides most of the water get wasted .
 So, it is good to take a bucket of water instead of shower.

➡️ Close the taps while brushing 

 When you brush your teeth the tap is open and you are brushing your teeth 
The water is being wasted. So close the taps while brushing.


➡️ Repair the leaking taps 

 When taps are closed then also some drops are dropping from it 
 The water is being wasted ∴ Repair the leaking taps
