heya  ,

the compound is BLEACHING POWDER,(Calcium Oxychloride)

PREPARATION:
it can be prepared on a large scale by passing
 chlorine gas over dry slaked lime(Ca(OH)2 + Cl2 ———— CaOCl2 + CaCl2 +HCl)

On reaction with
1> HCL
CaOCl2 +HCL -->  CaCl2 + Cl2 + H2O

2>Cl2
it is prepared from cl2 ..

3>KI
 CaOCl2 + KI ==> I2 + CaO + KCl

HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!
