♣ The colour of blood flowing through arteries is Dark red.
♣ The colour of blood flowing through veins is Bluish.
♣  The colour of blood flowing though capillaries is Light Red.
 
♦ The reason is that pulmonary artery contains deoxygenated blood that is why it is blue in colour. The pulmonary vein contains oxygenated blood that is why it is red in colour.
