a body is thrown vertically upwards and takes 5 seconds to reach the maximum height .the distance travelled by the body will be same in:-

1)1st and 10th second
2)2nd and 8th second
3)4th and 6th second
4)both 2 and 3..

actually the question should be "the distance from ground"

given that body takes 5sec to reach max height, so it takes same 5sec to reach back to the ground.

so total time of flight is Tf=10sec

so, if there is a point A on the path, and let time taken to reach A is t1, and time taken to reach A after going to max height be t2, then

t1+t2=Tf

so t1+t2=10sec

so 2 and 3 are answers.
