the following factors are responsible for globalisation:-

1. Liberalisation policies - earlier, the government of India set up many trade barriers in order to restrict and control the amount and types of goods coming to the country in order to protect local producers. As soon as local producers became capable of competing with outside producers, trade barriers were removed and so different businesses and MNCs could easily set up industries and factories in India and import and export products as they wished. This stimulated globalisation.

2. Improvement in technology - improvement of technology has reduced shipping and production costs which has provided an impetus to globalisation. The packaging technology has improved a lot (for example the technology in ports) which allows for lower shipping costs and transportation of goods over long distances.

3. Improvement in Information and Communication Technology - Information and Communication Technology is very important nowadays. It is present in almost every sphere of life. We use communication devices like mobiles, telephones, etc to send and receive messages and to communicate with people over large distances. Moreover, computers have become very important. Nowadays, the vast world of internet has allowed us to access various kinds of information at the snap of our fingers.
