how can we write balance for ions like oxide , sulphate etc .,

Hey  folk ! 

Its easy 

in the sulphate there are two π - bond and two σ -  bonds 

There is one negative charge on each single sigma bonded oxygens 

carry one one negative i.e. 2- charge on SO4(2-) ion sulphate ion
