Heya!
Here is ur answer...
BLOOD COAGULATION
##########################
=> When blood oozes out of our body..then plasma releases a substance called as "Thrombokinase"
=> Thrombokinase acts on Pro-thrombin and converts it into thrombin
=> Thrombin acts on another substance called Fibrinogen converting it into Fibrin.
=> These fibrin fibres recaches the edges entangles the wound..
=> Fibres pulls the wound and...serum is released as the result of Coagulation.
Hope it helps..
BLOOD COAGULATION :
● The mechanism to prevent blood loss from our body is termes as blood coagulation.
MECHANSIM :
》The mechanism of blood clotting is named as 'Cascade Theory'.
》The cut area of any part of the body releases exothromboplastin.
》The platelets which is in contact with air starts releasing platelet factor also called endothromboplastin.
》Albumin, Calcium, exothromboplastin and endothromboplastin comes together to form the Prothrombokinase or Thrombokinase enzyme.
》This enzyme then acts upon prothrombin (inactive enzyme released by Liver) converts into thrombin (active enzyme) in presence of Calcium.
》The activated enzyme, Thrombin, acts upon soluble fibrinogen (produced by Liver) and then converts it into Insoluble Fibrins.
》The Fibrins are then arranged compactly and thus forms clot.
