It's only about your perception that makes a difference. Physics as you said are preparing for medicals, would not be tough compared with the ENGG. Entrance exam. There are some pointers to follow:-
Try to understand the concepts by reading a good text essentially Ncert along with an author. This will not only creates interest in the subject but also solidify your fundamentals.Try any objective book which goes from basics to medium to a difficult level type of MCQ’s. Once you develop this habit you tend to understand the subject better, leave reading alone.Last but not the least try to make short notes with relevant formulas and diagrams.
PS: Your main focus is on biology and so of the examiners, hence it's advisable to distinguish the levels and materials of Physics for ENGG. And medicals. Never deep delve into a book meant for IIT-JEE else it might undermine your levels. Understand this.
