Can anyone explain me when to use minus sign and plus sign for acceleration.(in motion equations)
only who knows this,answer it.

when acceleration is being done against motion it is called negative acceleration

eg. when a stone is thrown up

similarly when acc. in in the direction of motion it said to be positive

eg when the stone is coming down
