A racing car has a uniform acceleration of 4 m s - ′2. What distance will it cover in 10 s after start?

Initial Velocity, u = 0

Acceleration, a = 4 m/s^2

Time taken, t = 10 s

Using the second equation of motion,

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

s = 0 × 10 + 1/2 × 4 × (10)^2

s = 0 + 200

s = 200 m.

Thus, at the distance of 200 m will it cover in 10 s after start.
