Answer:

Heya Myra

➡️In destructive interference, the crest of one wave meets the trough of another, and the result is a lower total amplitude.

➡️When two waves meet in such a way that their crests line up together, then it's called constructive interference.

HOpe this help uh

Constructive interference

When two waves of identical wavelength are in phase, they form a new wave with an amplitude equal to the sum of their individual amplitudes (constructive interference).

Destructive Interference

Destructive interference takes place when waves come together in such a manner that they completely cancel each other out.

There are many interesting wave phenomenon in nature, that cannot be defined by an individual wave.

Hope It Helps!
