in physics , motion is a change in a position of an object over time . Motion is mathematicaly described in a term of displacement , distance , velocity , acceleration and speed.Motion of body is observed by attaching a frame of refernces to an observer and measuring the change in position of the body relative to that frame .

Motion=> When the position of body continuously changes with respect to time and its reference point, then the body is said to be in Motion.
In other words, When the position of a body continuously changes with respect to the surrounding and time ( any stationary object around the body), the body is said to be in Motion. The motion performed by animals and plants are called as Locomotion. The movement in plant and animal is spontaneous, i.e. they appear to move on their own without any need of external energy.
