♣ What is poverty ??

✍️It is the state of being poor or living as weaker section being marginalized in the society.

✍️It is a multifaceted concept, which may include social, economic, and political elements.

✍️ Absolute poverty, extreme poverty, or destitution refers to the complete lack of the means necessary to meet basic personal needs such as food, clothing and shelter.

♣ Causes of poverty

✍️ Changing trends in a country’s economy.

✍️ Due to lack of education, high divorce rate, a culture of poverty, overpopulation, epidemic diseases such as AIDS and malaria and

✍️ Environmental problems such as lack of rainfall.

✍️ Extreme weather may be a cause of poverty in many countries.

✍️ Drought, rainfall and flooding are some of the biggest causes of poverty by weather.

✍️When natural disasters do not gain media attention raising money becomes more difficult.

♣ Steps to eradicate poverty

✍️ Provide food, shelter and clothing to everyone.

✍️ Provide nutritious food to the children.

✍️ Have well developed plans to counter up natural problems like floods, drought, etc.

✍️ Government must start schemes to help all those who live below the poverty line.

✍️ Equal opportunity must be provided to everyone who are eligible.
