Question :

Differentiate

1)sin(3x + 5)

Solution :

 \displaystyle y =  \sin(3x + 5)

Differentiating with respect to x we get ,

 \implies{ \displaystyle \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{d\{ \sin(3x + 5) \}}{dx}  }

By using chain - rule ,

\implies{\displaystyle \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{d\{ \sin(3x + 5) \}}{d(3x + 5)}   \times  \frac{d (3x + 5)}{dx} }

\implies{\displaystyle \frac{dy}{dx}  =  \cos(3x + 5)  \times 3}

 \boxed{ \red{\displaystyle \frac{dy}{dx}  =  3\cos(3x + 5)}}
