Branches of chemistry are :-

Inorganic chemistry :-Under this branch we study the methods of preparation of elements and their compounds ,their composition, properties and uses.

Organic chemistry:- In this branch we study mainly compounds of carbon ( except carbonates , bicarbonates ,carbon disulphide ,carbon monoxide and Carbon dioxide)

Physical chemistry :- Under this branch the application of physics to chemical reactions are studied.

Industrial chemistry :- In this branch of chemistry we study about preparation and properties of the products like plastics, soap ,clothes, varnish etc.of daily use.

Bio chemistry:- In this branch we study the chemical reactions and materials which obtained from living sources such as animals and plants.

Analytical chemistry:- Under this branch ,the process of identifying various substance measuring of volume ,mass and their analyses are studied.

Agriculture chemistry:- In this branch of chemistry the use of chemical such as fertilizers, salts etc in agriculture us studied.

Medicinal chemistry :- In this branch we study about drug combinations, production and properties of substance used in the preparation of medicines.

Explanation:

The five major branches of chemistry are organic, inorganic, analytical, physical, and biochemistry

Organic chemistry involves the study of the structure, properties, reactions, and synthesis of organic compounds containing carbon.

Physical chemistry, quite simply, is the application of physics to the study of chemistry. We already know that physics and chemistry are closely interlinked. Under this stream, you will apply principles of kinetics, thermodynamics, spectroscopy, quantum mechanics and the likes to understand the behaviour of matter on a molecular and atomic level.
