the two types of resources are --–----

Renewable resources- they are generated easily and can not be destroyed (ex. Food, plants, animals)
Non-renewable resources- they are generated hardly and can be destroyed. (ex. Fossil fuels- coal, oil, natural gas)

Renewable resources:
A renewable resource is a resource which can be used repeatedly and replaced naturally. Examples include oxygen, fresh water, solar energy andbiomass. New resources may include goods or commodities such as paper and leather.

Non-Renewable Resources:
A nonrenewable resource is a resourceof economic value that cannot be readily replaced by natural means on a level equal to its consumption. Most fossil fuels, such as oil, natural gas and coal are considered nonrenewable resourcesin that their use is not sustainable because their formation takes billions of years.
