friends here is your question :
one man go to shop with 100/-
he bought some things for 40/- . and the balance is 60 /- .
again he buy some things for 30 /- and the balance is 30 /- .
again he buy things for 18 /- and the balance is 12 /- . now he buy total 12 /- .
now the question

bought things balance
40 /- 60 /-
30 /- 30 /-
18 /- 12 /-
12 /- 0/-

if we add the cost of bought things = 100
but the balance is = 102
how ? the man go to shop with 100 /- only ?

This data is accurate and there is no mistake.

but the thing is that we confuse between the balance and cost of things.

In some cases, the sum of cost of things and balance maybe equal but not necessarily always. In this case these are not equal.

You can never tell that how much money you actually had by calculating sum of balance after each purchase. you need to find cost of each purchase and add those.

This riddle is very popular just because it is able to confuse our minds between cost and balance.
