Hey!

✍️ _____________________________________________________

Circumstances which led to the launch of Non-cooperation Movement

1. Rowlatt Act 1919

2. Jallianwala Bagh massacre 13 April, 1919

3. Khilafat Issue

4. Gandhiji's own conviction - " ...If Indians refuse to cooperate British rule in India would collapse within a year and Swaraj would come. " ( book- HInd Swaraj 1909 )

5. Growing unrest in masses against the British rule especially after the above first three mentioned incidents and the faith in Gandhiji all together made a ground for the launch of Non-cooperation Movement

Note: Please post separate questions to get some description of Rowlatt Act, Khilafat Movement and Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

Thanks
