Hey mate..
========

Given,

▪A carbon compound 'P' on heating with excess concentrated H2SO4 forms another compound 'Q' .

Here,

'P' ••••> Ethanol ( CH3 CH2 OH )

'Q'••••> Ethene ( CH2 = H2C )

How ?

Our Following Chemical Equation will answer 'How ?'

CH3 CH2 OH  \frac{h}{} \frac{o}{h} \frac{t}{2} \frac{c}{s} \frac{o}{o} \frac{n}{4} \frac{c}{} \frac{.}{} > CH2 = H2C + H20

Now,

'Q' >> Ethene on addition of H+ in the presence of nickel catalyst forms a saturated carbon compound 'R' .

The following chemical equation represents 'R':--

CH2 = H2C  \frac{n}{} \frac{i}{} \frac{c}{h} \frac{k}{2} \frac{e}{} \frac{l}{} > CH3 - CH3

So,

The saturated compound 'R' ---> Ethane ( CH3 -CH3)

Also,

One molecule of 'R' form two molecules of Carbon Dioxide ( CO2 ) and three molecules of water ( H20 ).

The chemical equation so formed is as follows --->

2C2 H6 + 7O2 ----------> 6H20 + 4CO2

Or,

C2 H6 + 2 3/2 O2 ---------> 3 H2O + 2 CO2

HOPE IT HELPS !!! ☺

HridayAg0102: no I don't think so
HridayAg0102: the above 2 eqs are correct
Róunak: Yup ! but if 2nd one is correct then 3rd one should also be correct
HridayAg0102: yes
HridayAg0102: but I m getting confused
Róunak: same here !! haha
Róunak: Bro bro bro
Róunak: Mil gaya...
Róunak: Woh jo oxygen he na...woh mixed fraction 2 3/2 me hoga....
Róunak: ^-^
