Homogenous mixture : 1. They have same composition of particles throughout.

2. No visible boundaries of separation are present.

3. They consist of only 1 phase,example = sugar + water.

Heterogenous mixture : 1. They are composed of different particles.

2. Visible boundaries of separation are present.

3. They consist of more than 1 phase, example = sugar + sand.
