ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

>> A One Day International is generally played between two teams for a limited overs of 50.

>> In each over one ball should be bowled 6 times.

>> The first one day international was played between Australia and England on 5th January, 1971.

>> World Cup is played in this manner only. India won its first world Cup in 1983.

RULES:

>> The two teams first go for toss. The one who wins the toss should elect either to bowl or to bat.

>> If he elects to bat then the batting teams plays for 50 overs if their wickets didn't fall.

>> The batting team set certain target for opponent team. If the opponent team chases the score before 50 overs then it is declared as victorious.

>> In fielding, two players should stand outside the 30 yard circle during Mandatory Powerplay ( 1-10 overs)

>> From 11 to 40 overs 4 players stand outside 30 yard circle.

>> In final 10 overs 5 players stand outside the thirty yard circle.
