The answer is

Black soil : They are found in lava covered areas. They are the derivatives of trapped lava and they are found where there is moderate rainfall and underlying basaltic rocks.Due to their high clay content black soils develop cracks in dry seasons but their rich -grangular structure makes them immune to soil and water erosion

The back soil is formed from weathering of igneous rocks and cooling of lava after volcanic eruption

It is used in crop cultivation of cotton, tobacco, chili, oil seeds, jowar, ragi, and maize

Black soils are highly agrillaceous, very fine grainded and dark, and  contain high proposition of calcium and magnesium carbonates. They are very tenacious of moisture and excedengily sticky when wet
