BONJOUR !!!

✨GOOD QUESTION !!!

➡SHORT NOTES -:

⭕Plateau -: A plateau is an elevated upland with relatively extensive level surface. The plateau is bounded by deep slopes on one or more sides. It rises abruptly .

It is cooler than the adjoining plains due to its higher elevation. The plateau is thinly populated . It is uneven and rocky.

⭕Plains -: It is a flat low-lying area which is usually less than 300 metres above the sea level.Extensive plains usually have an undulating surface but they generally have flat surface over a limited area.

A plain is usually more densely populated.A great plain of north india is one of the most fertile plains in the world.

Thanks.....☺✌
