Childhood is that very phase of life , if a person is asked to go back, no body would neglect to do so. A part of life full of innocence, notorious and silly things, no sense of inequality, etc. It is not said blindly that "Child is the father of man." Undoubtedly, a child is the father of man because he only teaches him the emotions of love, attachment, innocence and most importantly that will to never lose, to never give up! It's a physiological fact that a child never accepts his defeat and this is what an adult should learn from a child. That creativeness, that curiosity to know every new thing is what makes a child different from others .

Childhood is indeed the most beautiful phase of a person's life - no worries, no tensions, no responsibility, nothing.  There are many incidents of my childhood of which I remember. Sometimes, I laugh remembering the days I cried and at times I cry remembering the days I laughed - that's what life is all about! If I'm asked who 'was' my best friend in my childhood, my only reply would be my brother because he was the only companion of me along some others. And all my happy moments of childhood remains with him! This is one of the best and funniest incident that I remember of my childhood.

Seriously, as other brother - sisters fight, we too used to fight (it is present even now though) . Whatever I did the only thing my brother used to do was to bite me. So, once I had his collection of cricketers' photographs. And I don't know, what was that thing induced in me that made me attracted towards his things always. So, when he saw me with his loving photographs, he didn't took a single second to take them away and bite me. My mother was furious over his act, so she decided to tell it to father. At night, when papa (father) came, she told whole incident and said " Zara daant dikhana " ( show the biting mark) but oh god! See meh! I started showing my teeth. Literally I laugh so hard when I remember this foolish act of mine.

I, as told by my family, used to do the task adults do, without actually doing it. Means like I used to say when anyone came," Kheer khani h apko? (Do you want to eat pudding) . And literally, speak out whole recipe with actions of making kheer in virtual.

My other best friends of my childhood were and even are my cousins - I shared and even share a lot of fun time with them. It's lot of fun teasing them . Actually, there's too a hilarious incident of us! Once, in an evening we four (me, my brother, my cousin brother and cousin sister) were playing on the roof. There were the tiny pieces of gravels kept as the construction work was going on. We all kept playing till it was all dark. All were calling us but we kept playing. Suddenly my youngest uncle came all furious and what he saw was hysterical. The gravels were all spread. He bet three elders of us and left the youngest cousin sister, even though all crime was her part. And we all three, ohh god were looking at her as if like what happened. We were all so envied from her. Whenever we speak that incident , we get the same feeling even today.

My other best friend is Piihu. I too shared a lot memories with her. But I've not met her since many years because she lives in other district. These days she's not well. Her condition is very bad. I just pray from god to make her healthy like before.

There were many others too , Iram, Kashish, Sahil, etc.

I don't know how the time passed by. These incident seem so new when entered into flashback. I don't know when did I become a 15 years old girl, I seriously don't know!

Hey Piihu! ☺

Childhood is the first stage of life. A family is a place where the child is first born. So parents and other family members are actually responsible in shaping a child’s future and also in making the childhood of a child memorable.

The most important thing which makes childhood memorable is love and care of the family and family members. A child has the purest heart any human being can possess and all that heart desires is love; no matter what the circumstances are. Any person who claims that he or she had an amazing childhood has witnessed sufficient amount of love, care and affection from their family members.

The memories of childhood have their own place in any individual’s heart. As one grows up, one feels more and more attached with his childhood, the best period in an individual’s life. Having no anxieties, worries or work, a child is free from the dirty and filthy noise of the worldly life. When individuals recollect the memories of childhood, they feel delighted as it is the most pleasant period which is free from any kind of worry or anxiety.

The memories of childhood haunts an individual throughout his or her life and they wish that those childhood days full of pleasure come back despite knowing that childhood is a thing of past. Time is always passing fast and it is impossible for anyone to enjoy the days which will never come back.

Childhood is the period which has often been praised by poets and writers. As one grows in age, he or she feels great attachment and attraction for the days spent in childhood. Everyone deep inside their hearts wants to be children again but the fact remains; those days cannot come back however hard we try.
