Youth Of India

by-xyz

The term youth is often associated with vibrancy, joyfulness, enthusiasm and passion. This is because people belonging to the young generation are full of life. They are curious to learn new things and ready to explore the world. They are high on energy and do not want to conform to the customs and traditions set by the earlier generations. They try to apply logic to everything and question the radical thinking of the elders. Though, they usually end up annoying the later.

The Indian government has launched various programs to ensure that every child in the country gets education. The first step towards building strong youth is to impart education. Parents and teachers must also take it as a duty to nurture their children in a way that they grow up to be responsible youth.

India has a pool of young talented people who are making the country proud in different fields. The contribution of the Indian youth in the field of Information Technology is known to all. The medals won by young Indians for different sports also highlights how talented they are.

However, we cannot deny the fact that the number of unemployed and uneducated youth in the country is far greater and we still have a long way to go.

FESTIVALS OF INDIA

- Shreyansh/Tiktok(Shivani)

It is said that "Greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals". India has proved every word of the saying right by being famously known as the "Land of Festivals".

True to this belief, India has scores and scores of festivals, that bring happiness and joy all across the country.

This is because of the diverse cultures that exist in this subcontinent. All these different cultures and religions get tied together in bonds of love with these invisible threads of celebrations.

Every festival has a social, religious and mythological value. Accordingly, Dussehra has a great significance. Similarly, the Janmashtami festival has also a great religious and social significance. This is the occasion when Lord Krishna was born to kill Kansa and other demons and save the people from a great danger. This festival also teaches us how to fight evil and falsehood and establish truth.

On these festivals, people offer prayers to their deities, wear ethnic clothes and make merry with their near and dear ones. Ganesh Chaturthi, Eid Ul Fitr, Baisakhi, Onam, Pongal, Gurupurab, Ram Navami and Durga Puja are some of the festivals that are celebrated with immense zeal in different parts of India with some of these being specific to a particular region.

No wonder, our country is called a land of festivals.

Thank you

Hope it helps Shivani

You are so so sweet!
