Pretty interesting question.
Respect is a thing which is earned over time, it takes a lot of effort to earn respect in the eyes of everyone. But a small mistake, just a small mistake, which in turn results into a very small fall, breaks the thing called Respect, since it is so fragile.
And what falls that never breaks? A feather. Even though it falls apart from the group of it, but it's never going to break for the sole reason of falling.
