conservative force
If the work done  by a force depends on the initial and final states and not on the path taken,it is called a conservative force.

Example:Coulomb force and force of gravity are conservative force,as the work done by these forces are zero in a round trip.

law of conservation of energy

The law of conservation of energy states that energy may neither be created nor destroyed. Therefore the sum of all the energies in the system is a constant.
