Solution :-
In right triangle ADG , GD = 1 unit. < GAD = 30°
tan 30° = GD/AD
=> 1/√3 = 1/AD
=> AD = √3 unit
=> EB = √3 unit
& DE = 1+1= 2 unit
Hence, Side AB = ( 2+ 2√3) = 2( 1+ √3) unit
Since area ( equilateral triangle) =
= √3 side² / 4
=> area( tri ABC) = √3× AB² / 4
= √3× 4 × ( 1+ √3)² / 4
= √3( 4+ 2√3)
=. 6+ 4√3 Ans
