Question:-

When which which throw a ball upwards, what happens to its speed while it is going up? Give reason for your answer.

{\pink{\underline{\underline{\bold{Answer:-}}}}}

When we throw a ball upwards, its speed retards gradually. This is because the earth produces a gravitational force which brings down everything that goes up. So when a ball is thrown upward the gravity applies force to bring it down which decreases its speed of going up.

hope it helps you..

Answer:

The speed decreases and fall back on the ground.

This is because of drag and gravitation.

Drag is a friction caused by the air.
